About Ndagire
Rose Ndagire is an Agricultural Extension and Community Development Professional with over eight years of experience supporting sustainable agriculture, financial literacy, farmer empowerment, research, and rural development initiatives across Uganda. She has worked with leading organizations including AGRINET Uganda, the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Rose specializes in agricultural extension services, financial literacy training, farmer capacity building, community mobilization, data collection and analysis, agribusiness development, and stakeholder engagement. She has successfully implemented programs focused on crop productivity, sustainable farming practices, market linkages, household financial management, and evidence-based decision-making. Her expertise includes the use of digital data collection tools and monitoring systems to support high-quality development interventions and improve rural livelihoods.
Rose holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management from Makerere University and is passionate about promoting sustainable agriculture, financial inclusion, community empowerment, and inclusive economic development.
