About Andrew
Andrew Wanyakala is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Maina Corporation, a diversified business group with interests in real estate, financial services, agriculture, construction, and logistics. With extensive experience in entrepreneurship and business leadership, Andrew has spearheaded major infrastructure and development projects, including housing, power line, and rehabilitation works across Uganda.
Under his leadership, Maina Finance Ltd has expanded access to financial services for over 500 clients, while Maina Farmers supports more than 600 farmers through agricultural inputs, extension services, and market linkages. Prior to founding Maina Corporation, Andrew served as a Sales Manager at Barclays Bank Uganda, where he managed a portfolio of over 1,000 customers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Economics) from Makerere University and is passionate about driving sustainable business growth and community transformation.
